Our founders, Nigel and Michelle Jahina are both passionate about health and wellbeing, they understand first-hand the benefits of complimentary therapies and the creation of The Ruddington Wellness Centre is their chance to support individuals and offer new services to the local community.  

Michelle, after suffering fertility issues of her own, wanted to help others, she went back to study Acupuncture in 2019.  Michelle graduated in 2023 after three years of study and clinic practice.  Michelle runs her own Acupuncture practice, YOLO Acupuncture.  She has since continued her studies achieving a Post graduate diploma in Fertility, Obstetrics and Gynaecology an area which is a keen interest.  Michelle works at the Centre, Monday to Friday.  

Nigel, moved away from the corporate world after 30 years, to refocus his energy into creating something for the benefit of others.  A passionate advocate of complementary therapies he understands first-hand the benefits of such treatments.

Nigel and Michelle spent 18 months searching for and identifying potential locations before finally securing the site in Ruddington.  Then a further 6 months of hard work went into converting the old veterinary surgery into the modern, well equipped, premier therapy centre of today.

The Ruddington Wellness Centre is located at the heart of Ruddington village, with easy access from Nottingham City and the surrounding villages. Well served by public transport and with ample free street parking, Nigel and Michelle look forward to welcoming you to Ruddington Wellness Centre.
