My name is Parminder, and I am a qualified Social Worker and Person-Centred Counsellor with over 31 years of experience supporting children, young people, adults, and families.
I offer a holistic and creative approach to therapy, drawing on art, drama, mindfulness, and storytelling to help individuals explore their thoughts and feelings in a safe, supportive space. My practice is grounded in compassion and respect, ensuring that each person feels truly heard and understood.
Over the years, I have worked with people facing many different challenges, including anxiety, relationship difficulties, domestic abuse and violence, loss and bereavement, sexual abuse, and the impact of trauma and attachment issues. I also offer support through couples counselling, child and family therapy, mediation, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) with PACE, Theraplay®, and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). For those interested in alternative and holistic practices, I integrate meditation, mindfulness, and Reiki into my work.
Alongside my therapeutic work, I have extensive experience supporting people from BAMER (Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugee) communities. Being fluent in Punjabi and conversational in Hindi allows me to connect more deeply with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Whether you are seeking support for yourself or your family, my aim is to walk alongside you—helping you to build resilience, discover your strengths, and move forward with confidence and hope.
If you’d like to know more or arrange a session, I’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch by phone or email.
